Cheeses will be classified into the following categories:

- Semi-hard cheeses
- Semi-hard cheeses (flavoured cheeses)
- Hard and extra-hard cheeses
- Cheeses with eye formation
- Surface mould-ripened cheeses
- Blue cheeses
- Smear-ripened cheeses
- Fresh and thermized cheeses
- Processed cheese
- Pasta-filata cheese
- White cheeses
- The organizers reserve the right to modify the categories and number of samples according to the number of cheeses entered.
- Only cheeses made in the Czech Republic can enter the competition. Cheese produced abroad can be registered in the imported cheeses group.
- Sliced cheeses will not be accepted.
